Job Summary:
The Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support the overall growth objectives of Algebra Technologies. This role requires a creative and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the African market and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets and track ROI.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards.
- Monitor and manage online reputation.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimize social media platforms, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.
- Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
- Implement SEO/SEM strategies to improve website visibility and drive traffic.
- Manage email marketing campaigns.
- Content Creation:
- Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, blogs, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Events and Promotions:
- Plan and execute marketing events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing events and promotions.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Gather and analyze market data to identify customer insights and trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations on marketing performance and market analysis.
- Track and report on KPI’s.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media contacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing1 role, preferably in the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work2 independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with3 the African market and cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, google analytics, and other marketing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the telecommunications or mobile device industry.
- Knowledge of the fintech, healthtech, or e-commerce sectors.
