Job Summary:

The Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support the overall growth objectives of Algebra Technologies. This role requires a creative and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the African market and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy and Planning:
    • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the company's strategic goals.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Develop and manage marketing budgets and track ROI.
  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
    • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards.
    • Monitor and manage online reputation.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Manage and optimize social media platforms, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.
    • Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
    • Implement SEO/SEM strategies to improve website visibility and drive traffic.
    • Manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, blogs, and marketing collateral.
    • Coordinate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Events and Promotions:
    • Plan and execute marketing events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
    • Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing events and promotions.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze market data to identify customer insights and trends.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on marketing performance and market analysis.
    • Track and report on KPI's.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media contacts.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing1 role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

The Finance and Admin Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient financial and administrative operations of Algebra Technologies. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with a strong understanding of financial principles and administrative procedures.

Responsibilities:

Finance:

  • Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger1 entries, and bank reconciliations.
    • Process2 invoices, payments, and expense reports.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
    • Provide financial reports and analysis to management.
    • Track and report on financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Assist with audits and tax filings.
    • Manage company banking relationships.
  • Cash Management:
    • Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate funds are available.

Administration:

  • Office Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining office supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.
    • Manage office equipment and facilities.
  • Human Resources Support:
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
    • Manage employee benefits and payroll administration.
  • Compliance and Legal:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Maintain company contracts and legal documents.
    • Manage company insurance policies.
  • Procurement:
    • Manage the procurement of office supplies and other necessary items.
    • Maintain relationships with vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a3 finance and administration role.
